History

The, A Gentle Dental Center office had originally been a personal residence since the 1930's. Dr. Neslund purchased and remodeled the building in the early 60's. Dr. Pucel purchased the building and previous practice after the passing of Dr. Neslund in 1971. The name, A Gentle Dental Center was developed in 1984 and is registered with the State of Minnesota. The name is not an advertising opportunity; it is the way we practice. Comfort is an extremely desired quality for all patients. The delivery of dental services has been undergoing a dramatic change in recent years. Large businesses have entered into the provider side of dental services and are making it difficult for the smaller to exist. Still 75% of all dentists are solo practitioners like ourselves. There is a flow of dentists, though, that are hired by the large corporations. When large corporations are in control, individuals tend to loose services and quality for the sake of greater profits to the big business. We at A Gentle Dental Center are proud to be a small business providing quality, personal dental care and respond to the individual patient's needs.
